As a Commander of the “World Famous Hurricane Hunters” for nearly 7 years flying into the worst weather conditions, I wanted to insure when I bought our home in Florida that it had the right topography lot and home & that it could withstand the most harsh Storms and conditions.  I have flown everywhere in the world as a Delta Airline Captain and I share what “ Dr Beach considers the very best ideal beaches in the world to withstand the very worst weather conditions.” It’s no mistake that Cape San Blas and St George Island were selected 4 out of the last 20 years as the best beaches in the world by Dr Beach. As an Engineer, I looked at elevation, topography and many other factors that Dr Beach also measures.  The PHD Weather experts at the Hurricane Hunters gave me a short list of ideal areas in “The Southeast USA “ historically overtime that I should consider.  I have flown everywhere in the world as a Captain with Delta Airlines , include flying privately numerous times into  St George Island & Local Costin Airports.  Bottomline: there is no more perfect conditions than what my Family and I have found on the Forgotten Coast.  All our Kids have had their honeymoons at our Cape San Blas Beach home on the Gulf of Mexico.  Now our 11 grandchildren have shared numerous fishing trips and many beach adventurers.  The memories of our times together will last forever and beyond.  I would love to guide you to these ideal locations throughout the Forgotten Coast and help you find a piece of paradise for your family.
