The 19-bed hospital features a 24-hour emergency department, inpatient services, surgical services, a full complement of diagnostic and laboratory services, and a helipad to be used by Sacred Heart's regional air ambulance service to provide rapid transport for trauma or critically ill patients.
A Medical Office Building opened in the fall of 2010 adjacent to the hospital and provides convenient access to primary care and specialty physicians, dialysis services, women’s diagnostic and imaging services, and Sacred Heart Rehabilitation.
Based on a survey of hospital patients that is conducted nationwide, Sacred Heart Hospital on the Gulf is ranked among the top hospitals in Florida for patient satisfaction. In 2014, a leading healthcare ratings organization recognized the hospital with its top patient satisfaction award.
